I was able to download the file, but it wouldn't play. It opened in WinAmp (v5.572 Pro), but WinAmp said it was a "corrupt file or unsupported module type."
I don't have the visualization features of WinAmp installed, does this contain video as well or just audio?

Rename the file from .mod to .avi and it should work, did for me.
Good playing by the way!

If you have a backtrack in an MP3 file, or a MIDI, you can load it into Audacity. Then you can play it and record your ocarina on a seperate track in Audacity at the same time. When you are done, you export the whole thing as a single MP3. That MP3 can then be loaded into your video editing software as a seperate audio track. Then mute the audio from your webcam and make sure you line up the new audio track with the video, or you'll look like a bad Chinese Kung Fu movie. That's what I do.
BTW, If you don't know, Audacity is free, and a very good sound editing software. You can apply all softs of effects to clean up background noise, add a little reverb, boost the gain a little. Audacity can go a long way toward making up for a cheap mic, and can make a good mic sound downright professional.
Audacity Download
The hardest part is finding a backtrack to work with. I think everyone has a different way of hunting down backtracks. I like to import MIDI files into Finale 2010 (defintely NOT a free software) and isolate and export just the piano as an MP3. Then it's over to Audacity for the rest.

My latest vid is on the plastic triple:
So how do you like that triple? It sounds great, but how's its playability compared to your other triples?

Ubizmo
I haven't had it very long so it is hard to say. I think I've adapted to it very quickly so I expect that anyone with multi-chambered ocarina experience could as well. I only had it a few days and I was able to record the Handel allegro. I had been preparing it for the purple clay triple so I guess they are somewhat similar in breath dynamics and ergonomics. I did have to modify my playing a bit because of the finger placements are slightly different but that's the same with just about any new ocarina.
The purple clay triple does seem to lend itself to more expressive playing as it is more sensitive to subtle changes in breath pressure. I don't know if this is audible to the listener but I can hear and feel the difference (back pressure) while playing. I definitely prefer the timbre of my other triple ocarinas but I think STL did a great job, so now instead of carrying around one of my other triples, I carry the plastic triple instead.
Another difference is that condensation occurs with plastic. It doesn't occur as quickly compared to other plastics I have but it still happens. The second and third chambers don't seem to have the issue as much as the first chamber. I wanted to do a longer more complicated piece on it to show that it can be used to perform more taxing works. If someone is a "spitty" player, they'll probably encounter a little frustration as they adapt. Because I have previous plastic and wooden ocarina experience, it was no problem.
Mr. Hind taught me something pretty neat when dealing with condensation in wooden and plastic ocarinas. I keep a folded strip of paper on hand and use it to dry the wind way when the tone starts to weaken. With the plastic triple, I can play through the Handel Allegro 3 times before timber weakening occurs. The clean-out takes just a couple of seconds. I use this trick for my Hind transverse double as well.
I apologize to the mods and admins for going off topic. If anyone has any other questions about it, please PM me or post a thread and PM me the thread.

Not quite perfect, but after enough takes there comes a time when you just have to accept your limitations.

This is me playing O Worship the King. It has 4 parts, so I just recorded them(no vid) and put a pic of my ocarinas for the video.
So after uploading the video the first time, I found out that audacity left out the bottom part. After rerecording the bottom part and uploading that I heard some sour notes in the bass line. After rerecording again and uploading I think I finally got it good enough. Let me know what you think
P.S. The volume is low, so you're gonna need to turn it up
